Saturday July 11th

New postby Zoren » Mon Jul 06, 2009 10:48 am

So.. what's up? Did anyone have plans for this weekend? if not I'll probably propose some tomorrow...
Well it looks like there's a few possibilities.

Looks like Kinoshi has offered to host something at his place. we could either have a pot luck or eat somewhere before if that's an option.
Also it is second Saturday so we could go again somewhere downtown. possibly Plum blossom or Fanny Ann's

Looks like with 5 votes the popular choice is Fanny Ann's so we'll go there. Does the usual 6pm sound good?

Also note: Food can be bought using cash or credit. Soda's cost $2 and can only be bought with cash.

uhh.. why are people still voting in the poll? it's kind of late to suddenly change venues... *tries to close poll*

No, but there's a good chance I'll be skipping at least some of it if it's going to be too lucretively taxing--I spent a bit for 7/4 so I'm not sure how things will look then. If there will only be a few though, we can probably hang out at my place. Pool is pretty nice and fairly large and I can cook for everyone if people are willing to contribute to funding the meal. I'm no GunnerScott, but I'll be damned if I don't try my best to be his apprentice.

I've been thinking about getting into meets again- A walk-around in Old Town Elk Grove when the pottery places and breweries and shit are open would likely prove to be neat =P

as well, just off ELk Grove florin there's Zehnder's Flash Yogurt (a personal favorite) the Regional Park (Swimming pool, Frisbee golf. . .]

http://www.yourcsd.com/rec/aquatics_recreation.asp s'got the pool information x3 (wackford is in laguna, across town from Elk Grove Regional)

There'll be a community thing at Regional that day, so it .. might cost money to park there (FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF)

anywho D: Throwing things out dere. I shall quit rambling now =3
And it's a long way back to the golden state
where the city's held in by a golden gate
like a giant jar full of fireflies
the yellow lights blinking on the mountainside
and I wish I had a plane or a cable car
'cause all I really want is to be in your arms

And I got it almost figured out
if I could get you closer to me
'cause it's a good life for a short time
and you've got me almost figured out
there's almost nothing left to see
you're bringing out the best in me
you're bringing out the best in me

It has been awhile since we had a meet in Elk Grove.. It's partially likely because all of the regulars that come to the meets lately live in the northern metro areas. I'd like to investigate the possibility of holding another down there but sadly there isn't enough lead time at this point to confirm a good set of plans. For the future though it is a possibility.

Omg!
Fanny ann's.

I have been asked to say a few words to the transhuman arm of Sector Seventeen Overwatch, concerning recent successes in containing members of the resistance Science Team. Let me say up front that I regret having to temper my heartfelt congratulations with a strong measure of disappointment.

Yep it's been awhile since we last went there and it looks like it's the popular choice.

Hmm. I might actually show up tonight.
I have to get out of the house and wandering down old town Sac shouldn't affect my back too much. It's been a while since I've gone there. :3
I hope you can see this because I'm doing it as hard as I can.

One last miniute reminder again to all those who see it. if you're coming to Fanny Ann's be sure to bring at least $2 in cash if you want to purchase a soda to drink..

Oh also the aftermeet may involve swimming so bring a swimsuit and a towel if you want to participate.
