Furry Weekend in Sacramento - Saturday October 3rd 2009

Yep the first ever FWIS is next weekend!

For those who may have not noticed the Upcoming event link:

WHAT: A day of Music, Picnicking , and Games in at the Gibson Ranch park near Sacramento.

Music:
Vulpine Soundworks is going to be providing music throughout event.

Food:
The BBQ basics such as hot dogs and hamburgers as well as some drinks will be provided. If you want something else you are encouraged to bring it along for yourself or to share.

Games:
All attending are invited to partake in games such as:

  • Giant Ball toss
  • Duck Duck Goose
  • Dance off
  • 30 sec art switch

WHEN: October 3rd 2009, From 12pm to 7pm

WHERE: Gibson Ranch park located in the northern Sacramento metro area.


How much does it cost?

$10 per person (charged by us. Preregister or bring cash)

$5 per vehicle (charged by park. you have to bring cash for this)

We’re currently asking for $10 per person to cover the costs associated with the event. Also the park charges a Vehicle entry fee of $5 per vehicle so carpooling is recommended, and we’re looking at alternate parking nearby for those who need to drive alone but would like to meet up with someone to share the vehicle cost. On site we will only accept cash as payment.

WHERE: Sizzling Hot Mongolian BBQ - On West El Camino behind the Wells Fargo

WHAT: A brand new lil Mongolian place, if you are not feeling it there is Italian, Mexican, Pizza, and a few other restaurants right there as well.

AFTERMEET: The House of Mews, we have plenty of entertainment to choose from and now have expanded visiting areas, including the garage with gaming area, and easy access to the back yard, with screened in shade
