Details:

Due to some minor hardware failure beyond our control, we experienced an unusually lengthy bit of downtime. We apologize for that, but we’re back, with everything fixed, as it should be. After CaliFur, I should have the forum all setup, proper, and the mailing list should be well on the way.

We’re also looking for some new, _licensed_ artwork for the site, and submissions are very much welcome. Colored artwork is preferred, and you can e-mail me for more details using the Help link to your right.

Movabletype Has Been Fixed!

As you can tell, the site layout has temporarily changed. The content has been imported into MovableType, a very flexible content management system. MovableType is useful for making weblogs, journals, and news sites. Entries from existing journals can be imported into MovableType without much difficulty.

The purpose of the SacFurs website is to help organize and facillitate communication among the furs of Northern California. We accomplish this with our free services and community forum.

SacFurs.com is now accepting applications for user accounts. Furs wanting one should “drop staff a line”:mailto:staff@sacfurs.com with your desired username and password. Usernames should be between 4-12 alphanumeric characters, and of decent complexity. Please see the “Services Offered”:/archives/000044.shtml and “Client Configuration”:/archives/000045.shtml sections for more details.
